Cherries & Sour Cream

Although the ingredients are Hungarian I have been making this dessert since high school days when a friend discovered it back then!

So simple and so delicious.


  • 3 x 400g light sour cream
  • half a cup of raw sugar
  • 2 jars of Morello Cherries
  • ground cinnamon


  1. Put sour cream in large bowl.
  2. Add sugar and mix.
  3. Drain cherries and add to sour cream, mix well and add a little of the juice.
  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
