Apricot Jam

For about 5 jars of jam


  • 4 kg very ripe apricots
  • 1 kg raw sugar


  1. Wash and take out seeds of apricots.
  2. Put in 5 l saucepan
  3. Throw sugar on top and cook at reasonably high heat stirring regularly until all dissolved and fruit is mushy – maybe about an hour or so.
  4. While still hot pour into jars and put lids on.
