- 1 kg mince beef
- 1 medium onion, grated
- 1 egg
- salt & pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- dried thyme & majoram
- Mix everything together thouroughly with your clean hands.
- Shape into meatloaf and roll in breadcrumbs.
- Splash some olive oil onto the bottom of a baking dish and place meatloaf on top.
- This takes about an hour to cook at 200°C.
- Halfway through cooking you can add a jar of passata, some crushed garlic and some whole small mushrooms if you like.
